24-Year-Old Anshul Kumar Stabbed to Death by Two Minors and an 18-Year-Old in Delhi

The 18-year-old suspect, identified as Sumit Sagar, has been arrested, while the two minors, aged 13 and 17, have been taken into custody. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Anshul Kumar, was a resident of Aman Vihar and engaged in various small businesses. A police officer, who preferred to remain anonymous, revealed that a few months prior, Kumar had a dispute with the three teenagers over a minor issue. Allegedly, Kumar had slapped them, leading to a desire for revenge on the part of the minors. This enmity had persisted over the months, eventually resulting in the tragic incident.

The attack occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday in the vicinity of Kumar’s residence, while he was accompanied by a friend. Armed with two knives, the three assailants approached Kumar, restraining him, and proceeded to stab him in the left thigh. Subsequently, they fled the scene, leaving Kumar bleeding profusely. Fortunately, Kumar’s friend, aided by local residents, rushed him to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. However, despite their best efforts, Kumar succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The police officer stated that Kumar’s friend was able to identify the suspects, providing crucial information that facilitated the subsequent apprehension. Acting swiftly, the police initiated a search operation and successfully arrested the three culprits from different parts of the neighborhood within a span of four hours.
