BHOPAL: In a shocking incident, a Class 12 student sustained a gunshot injury in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday. According to Neeraj’s statement, he received a call from his friend in the afternoon, inviting him over. Upon arrival at the residence, he was confronted by the woman’s husband, who allegedly fired at him, causing a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Contradictory reports have emerged, suggesting that Neeraj caused a commotion upon arriving at his girlfriend’s house and shot himself in the abdomen. This discrepancy prompted the intervention of forensic experts to further investigate the matter. They conducted a supervised hand-washing procedure on Neeraj to determine the presence of gunpowder residue, which would be a crucial clue if he had indeed discharged a firearm.

Witnesses provided varying accounts of the incident. The injured student’s friend’s grandmother recounted an account where Neeraj, accompanied by two friends, arrived at the scene. She claimed that Neeraj brandished a pistol, mentioning that it would determine his fate that day. Subsequently, he asked his mother to contact the police before allegedly shooting himself.
