Guntur: In a horrific incident, three members of a family were brutally murdered on Wednesday night in Piduguralla, a town located in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. The victims have been identified as Sambasiva Rao, aged 50, his wife Adilakshmi, aged 47, and their son Naresh, aged 30.

The shocking crime came to light when Sambasiva Rao’s daughter-in-law, Madhuri, along with her father Subbarao and brother Srinivasa Rao, surrendered themselves at the Muppalla police station. It has been revealed that Naresh had married Madhuri, hailing from Dammalapadu in the Muppalla mandal, six years ago after separating from his first wife due to irreconcilable differences. The couple had a five-year-old son.

According to reports, Madhuri had contacted her father and brother on Wednesday afternoon, informing them about the harassment she was facing at the hands of her husband. Concerned for her safety, Subbarao and Srinivasa Rao rushed to Madhuri’s residence at around 8 p.m. While they were engaged in a conversation, a sudden and brutal attack took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. Subbarao and Srinivasa Rao, armed with knives, assaulted Naresh, Sambasiva Rao, and Adilakshmi, resulting in their tragic and untimely demise.

Following the heinous act, Madhuri, along with her father and brother, immediately surrendered themselves to the police authorities at the Muppalla police station. The local police promptly brought them back to Konanki, where the incident occurred. Upon discovering the lifeless bodies of the victims at the crime scene, the authorities took the accused into custody and initiated a thorough investigation.
