In a shocking and disturbing incident, an 18-year-old teenager named Mubarak has been apprehended by the police for the heinous murder of his mother’s boss, Mrs. Sidikat Anuoluwapo. The motive behind the crime was reportedly a cell phone worth N80,000.

The lifeless body of Mrs. Sidikat Anuoluwapo was discovered last week in her room, drenched in a pool of her own blood. Following an intensive investigation by the police in Ikare Akoko, Mubarak was identified as the prime suspect. According to a police source, the two suspects confessed that they gained entry into the victim’s residence by scaling the fence rather than using the main gate. Once inside, they went directly to the deceased’s room, where she was lying on her bed after taking a bath. Shockingly, they used a wooden box to bludgeon her head, while the second suspect strangled her.

The motive behind the brutal murder was traced back to the victim’s cell phone, which Mubarak desired. The N80,000 worth phone became the catalyst for this senseless act of violence, shedding light on the dark side of desperation and greed.

The case has since been transferred to the police headquarters in Akure for further investigation and legal proceedings. The community remains in shock and mourning over the tragic loss of Mrs. Sidikat Anuoluwapo, a woman whose life was taken in such a brutal and senseless manner.
