Two Arrested for Murdering Man in Coimbatore: Victim Identified as Ravi

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Coimbatore: Two individuals, one of whom is a minor, were apprehended on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a 45-year-old man in the city. The suspects have been identified as M Mohammed Firdose Raj, a 28-year-old daily wage worker from Madurai who was residing near CMCH, and a 16-year-old boy who dropped out of Class IX from Sundakkamuthur.

The victim, identified as Ravi, was discovered in a partially decomposed state near a railway track on Friday. Authorities suspected foul play after the postmortem examination revealed severe head injuries. Inspector Arjun and his team reviewed CCTV footage from the area, which showed the two suspects and the deceased heading towards the railway track at around 10 am on November 14. An hour later, the footage captured the two youths returning.

Based on the CCTV footage, the police arrested the two suspects, who subsequently confessed to the murder. According to their statements, the three individuals had consumed alcohol on the morning of November 14 when an argument ensued. The two suspects repeatedly struck Ravi’s head with a stone, took 300 rupees from his pocket, and left the scene. An officer from the Race Course police stated that the three individuals used to drink together and were involved in homosexual relationships. The investigation is ongoing.

In other news, a 13-year-old boy who went missing in Ahmednagar, India, after receiving low marks on his exams has been located by the police. The boy’s parents reported him missing, prompting the authorities to launch a search operation. The incident occurred on November 15, and the victim succumbed to his injuries the following day. The police suspect road rage and have formed a special team to apprehend the culprits.

In Thanjavur, police investigating a case involving a quack have made a disturbing discovery. The internal organs of a man murdered by the quack were found to be missing. The accused, Kesavamoorthi, claimed that the victim died during a sexual encounter and admitted to burying the dismembered body. The police are planning to interrogate Kesavamoorthi further to determine if there are any other victims and if the missing organs were the motive behind the murder.
