Accident – Death – Obituary News : Tragic Road Accident in Kendrapada Claims Two Lives and Injures Six Others

Kendrapada, UK – In a devastating road accident, two individuals lost their lives while six others suffered severe injuries after a vehicle collided with an auto-rickshaw on National Highway-16 under Panikoili police station limits in Jajpur district on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Puja Sahoo (20) and Sibananda Mohapatra (11) from Sahapada village in Bhadrak district. The accident occurred near Panikoili Chhack when the victims were on their way to Puri.

The collision resulted in the death of Puja Sahoo and Sibananda Mohapatra at the scene, while the injured individuals were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident fled the spot following the collision. Lizarani Biswal, the inspector in-charge of Panikoili police station, stated, “We are currently investigating the case.”

Another tragic road accident occurred in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, claiming the lives of two passengers and injuring six others. The incident took place when a Sumo vehicle rolled down into a gorge. Expressing concern over the increasing number of road accidents, the JKPCC president and other party leaders urged the administration to take immediate measures to prevent such incidents. They also demanded financial assistance for the affected families and proper medical treatment for the injured.

In a separate incident in Tulsa, Oklahoma, two individuals were fatally shot, and three others sustained injuries during an altercation at a residential gathering. The police arrived at the scene around 2 am, and investigations are ongoing to determine the number of shooters involved and any potential suspects. One victim died at the scene, while four others were transported to hospitals in critical condition. Unfortunately, one of the victims passed away after reaching the hospital. Thankfully, four children present in the house remained unharmed.

These incidents highlight the urgent need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules, improved infrastructure, and increased awareness about road safety. It is essential for authorities to take proactive measures to prevent road accidents and protect the lives of innocent individuals..
