The suspect, identified as Gautam (20), was arrested from Sonipat’s Murthal. The shooting occurred on November 18, and the police found four empty cartridges at the crime scene.

The victims, Digvijay alias Sajan (28) and Vikas alias Vicky (24), both sustained three gunshot wounds each. They are currently receiving medical treatment. According to Ravindra Singh Yadav, the special commissioner of police (crime), Sajan and Vikas had gone to Tilak Nagar market with their friends when they spotted Gautam standing with two female companions. Sajan recognized Gautam and instructed Vikas to stop the car. They then approached Gautam, leading to an argument. In the heat of the moment, Gautam allegedly drew out a pistol and opened fire on the victims before fleeing the scene.
