The victim has been identified as Jason Bush, aged 41. According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), patrol officers received a shooting call at a gas station located at 1514 White Oak Drive. Upon arrival, they found Bush unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a black sedan. Tragically, Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Bush dead at the scene due to a gunshot wound.
Based on a preliminary investigation and evidence collected at the scene, it was determined that Bush had encountered two unknown suspects in a pickup truck, specifically described as a blue Ford F-150, in the gas station’s parking lot. During the encounter, a male suspect approached Bush’s vehicle, and shots were fired, resulting in the fatal injury.
The suspect, described as a white male, then quickly returned to the pickup truck and fled the scene. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time, leaving investigators searching for answers.
