DCP South East CK Baba Investigates Rental Fraud Case, Suspect Yet to be Caught.

Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : DCP South East CK Baba has announced that the police are actively investigating a case involving rental fraud, and their main objective is to apprehend the accused individual. Furthermore, DCP CK Baba emphasized that once the investigation is concluded, it will become clear whether the accused has defrauded other victims as well.

The incident came to light after a 26-year-old woman reported to the police that a man had deceived her by accepting money for an apartment rental but absconded with her funds. Bangalore Mirror had previously covered this story on Sunday, bringing attention to the woman’s plight.

Following the woman’s complaint, the police promptly registered a Non Cognizable (NC) case on November 10. Shedding light on the situation, DCP CK Baba stated, “The accused has already returned Rs 50,000 to the victim; however, she filed a complaint as she did not receive the remaining Rs 35,000. Our assigned officer is diligently investigating the case, and once the accused is apprehended, we will gather further details.”

Additionally, the victim shared that she received a call from the HSR police station on November 19, requesting her presence to provide additional information. “They have asked me to come to the police station on Tuesday to provide more details,” she revealed to Bangalore Mirror.

In another tragic incident, a 21-year-old individual named David was fatally stabbed by an elderly man, identified as Manjunath. The motive behind this act of violence was allegedly David’s involvement with Manjunath’s daughter. As a food delivery agent, David had entered into a relationship with Manjunath’s daughter, which disapproved by her father. Manjunath urged David to distance himself from his daughter, as he vehemently rejected their relationship. However, David allegedly began harassing the girl and even threatened to expose their intimate images.

On Monday, Manjunath summoned David to his residence and attacked him with a knife, resulting in his untimely demise. The Ashok Nagar Police promptly took Manjunath into custody, and an ongoing investigation is underway to gather further evidence.

Providing insights into the case, DCP Shekhar H Tekkannavar, responsible for Crime, informed the media that the accused had already been apprehended and had confessed to the crime of killing David.
