Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects Involved in Fatal Shooting in The Heights Area

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department (HPD) is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two individuals believed to be connected to a tragic shooting incident that took place in the Heights area. The victim, identified as 41-year-old Jason Bush, tragically lost his life in the incident.

The Incident

On November 4th, at approximately 7:05 p.m., HPD patrol officers were dispatched to a gas station situated at 1514 White Oak Drive, following reports of a shooting. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Jason Bush unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a black sedan. Tragically, Houston Fire Department paramedics, who promptly responded to the scene, pronounced Bush dead due to a gunshot wound.

Details of the Crime

Preliminary investigations carried out by HPD revealed that Jason Bush had arranged a meeting with two unidentified suspects in the gas station’s parking lot. The suspects arrived in a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck. As the meeting progressed, one of the suspects approached Bush’s vehicle, and without warning, shots were fired. The suspect swiftly returned to the pickup truck and fled the scene.

Motive for the Shooting
