Young Man and Associates Brutally Murder History-Sheeter in Revenge Plot

CHENNAI: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old man, along with his accomplices, ruthlessly hacked a notorious history-sheeter, identified as Chezhian from Erukkancheri, to death near Red Hills on Monday night. The motive behind this gruesome act was to avenge the death of the young man’s father.

The main suspect, Sathish Kumar, along with three others, surrendered themselves before the police on Tuesday morning, leading to their immediate arrest.

Authorities reported that Chezhian was returning from work on Monday when he was brutally attacked by a gang armed with knives, resulting in his tragic demise. During the subsequent investigation, it was discovered that the deceased was a well-known criminal who had previously been arrested for the murder of Prabhakaran in 2001. Although he was released on bail, Chezhian was involved in the killing of Prabhakaran’s brother and subsequently received a 15-year prison sentence. After being granted bail three years ago, he had been employed at a private company.

Sathish Kumar, the prime suspect in Chezhian’s murder, is the son of Prabhakaran. Alongside Sathish Kumar, Vishal, Appu, and Mahesh, three others believed to be involved in the crime, voluntarily surrendered themselves at the Red Hills police station on Tuesday. All four individuals have been taken into custody, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.
