Suspect Apprehended in San Antonio Murder Case

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A murder suspect has been successfully apprehended in San Antonio following a collaborative effort between local law enforcement and federal authorities.

On the night of May 18, 2023, a tragic incident took place at the Privat Social Club located in the 5100 block of UTSA Blvd. A dispute between two groups escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving four individuals with gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries shortly after the incident occurred. The alleged perpetrator, identified as 19-year-old Seth Rockett, then fled the scene, evading authorities.

Today, the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), in conjunction with the United States Marshals Service, successfully apprehended Seth Rockett. He was arrested on multiple active felony warrants, including a warrant for murder.

The SAPD has expressed their utmost appreciation for the unwavering dedication displayed by their detectives throughout the investigation. Their relentless efforts have led to the arrest of Rockett, ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
