Tragic Incident Unfolds as Woman and Two Children Found Dead in North Spokane Home

November 20, Spokane – In a harrowing discovery that has sent shockwaves through the local community, it has been revealed that a woman and her two children found dead in their north Spokane residence last week were victims of a fatal shooting. The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that the mother tragically took her own life, while the two children fell victim to lethal gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on November 16, when the father arrived home late at night to a devastating scene of unimaginable loss in their residence at 2609 W. Woodside Ave., located just north of Salk Middle School.

The deceased woman has been identified as 43-year-old Michelle Asker. The medical examiner’s office has confirmed that Michelle died by suicide, succumbing to a gunshot wound to the head. The two children, Clarissa Asker, aged 10, and Isabelle Asker, aged 8, tragically lost their lives due to gunshot wounds to their heads. The medical examiner’s office has classified their deaths as homicides, further compounding the heart-wrenching nature of the incident.
