Mission Viejo, Orange County – A female employee of the Amazon distribution center in Mission Viejo was stabbed in the facility’s parking lot on Tuesday morning, leaving her in critical condition. The incident took place at around 9:30 a.m., prompting calls to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies provided assistance to Orange County Fire Authority first responders who were administering medical treatment to the victim. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect involved in the stabbing has surrendered and is now in custody. The motive behind the attack and the suspect’s connection to the Amazon facility are currently under investigation.
