64-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot at Pasadena Park

PASADENA, Calif. – A 64-year-old man met a tragic end when he was shot and killed at Washington Park in Pasadena, a city located in Los Angeles County, California.

The Pasadena Police Department promptly responded to a distress call in the early hours of Saturday, November 18. The incident occurred at the park situated on the 700 block of East Washington Boulevard. Sadly, the victim, identified as Mickey Cooper, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, as confirmed by the authorities.

Following the shooting, law enforcement took swift action and apprehended a 25-year-old suspect, Aaron Connell, in connection with the murder of Mickey Cooper. Pasadena PD has taken him into custody, and he is currently being booked on murder charges.

While the investigation is ongoing, officials have refrained from disclosing the underlying reasons that led to the violent incident at Washington Park.
