Accident – Death – Obituary News : Tragic Accident Claims the Life of Home Guard in Hyderabad

Hyderabad witnessed a devastating accident on Monday morning that resulted in the loss of a 50-year-old home guard’s life. A Sathaiah, a resident of Kolanguda village in Kandukur mandal of Ranga Reddy district, was on his way to work at the Falaknuma traffic police station when his bike was hit by a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction. The accident took place near Pocharam village in Ibrahimpatnam.

The collision between Sathaiah’s two-wheeler and the truck occurred at around 5:30 am near a rice mill. The truck, which was traveling at a high speed from Mangalpalle, crashed into the bike, causing Sathaiah to fall on the road. Tragically, he was crushed under the right front tire of the truck and sustained critical head injuries. Sathaiah succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The truck driver, realizing the gravity of the situation, fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. The Ibrahimpatnam police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the absconding driver. A case has been registered under section 304-A (causing death due to rash or negligent act) of the Indian Penal Code based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s son.

The incident has left the community in shock and mourning. Sathaiah was a dedicated home guard who served to maintain traffic and ensure public safety. The loss of such a committed individual has deeply saddened his colleagues and the people he served.

The police have registered a case and are actively searching for the truck driver, who is currently on the run.
