25-Year-Old Woman Constable Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances at In-Laws’ House in Bulandshahr

Accident – Death – Obituary News : MEERUT: In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old woman constable with the Uttar Pradesh (UP) police was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws’ house in the Siyana area of Bulandshahr, as confirmed by the police on Monday.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Chanchal, who was married to a police constable named Kuldeep Kumar in the year 2022. Both of them were posted in Pilibhit. Chanchal had recently given birth to a baby boy and was on maternal leave.

The shocking discovery was made on Monday morning when Chanchal was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her in-laws’ house. Her family has alleged foul play, stating that she has been killed and her body hanged to the ceiling fan to make it appear like a suicide.

Circle Officer, Siyana, Bhaskar Kumar Mishra informed that based on the complaint filed by Chanchal’s family, a case has been registered against three accused individuals. The accused include her husband Kuldeep, father-in-law Jasvir Singh, and mother-in-law Gajendri Devi.

“The body has been sent for postmortem. The investigation is currently underway, and legal action will be taken accordingly,” said Mishra.
