Accident – Death – Obituary News : (KRON) – The Fremont Police Department announced on Monday that a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident where two men were injured.
The incident occurred on November 17 at around 4:47 p.m. when the Fremont police officers received a report of a stabbing in the 4100 block of Walnut Ave. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers found two male victims who had sustained stab wounds. The officers immediately provided medical aid to the victims before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

One of the victims, a 23-year-old male, is currently in stable condition. However, the other victim, a 30-year-old male, is in critical condition, according to the officers.
Surveillance footage of the incident, as well as statements from multiple witnesses, helped identify the suspect as 28-year-old Miguel Angel Villareal, a resident of Fremont. In response, the officers saturated the area in an attempt to locate Villareal. The Fremont PD Crimes Against Person(s) detectives joined the investigation and, after several hours of search, Villareal was apprehended and taken into custody.
Villareal has been arrested on two counts of attempted murder and is scheduled to be arraigned on November 22. Police records reveal that Villareal has a prior criminal history involving robbery, battery causing serious bodily injury, resisting arrest, and drug-related offenses.
The motive behind the stabbing is currently unknown and under investigation by the authorities.
