Indiana Man Larry J. Planck III Faces New Charges Including Attempted Incest and Sexual Battery After Alleged Murder of Isabel Hernandez

Planck III, an Indiana man with a history of criminal charges including murder and child molestation, is now facing additional charges as the evidence against him continues to mount. Planck is currently being held in the Randolph County Jail on one count of murder after a woman named Isabel Hernandez was found shot to death on his front lawn on April 2.

Hernandez was reportedly pregnant with Planck’s child at the time of the shooting. Initially, Planck claimed that Hernandez had kicked in his door while holding a gun, and he shot her in self-defense. However, police found no weapon near the victim and no signs of forced entry, casting doubt on Planck’s story.

During the investigation into the murder case, authorities uncovered a disturbing collection of images and videos that allegedly depict Planck molesting a child. In several of the videos, Planck can be seen and heard engaging in sexual acts with the child. One video even reportedly shows Planck bragging about the abuse. These revelations led to additional charges of child molestation against Planck.

Recently, new court documents have revealed yet another crime committed by Planck. Detectives working on the Isabel Hernandez homicide case discovered a series of Facebook messages sent by Planck that detail another sexual offense. Between July and December of 2022, Planck allegedly sent numerous sexual videos and images to a relative over Facebook. These videos reportedly show Planck engaging in sexual acts with others while making explicit comments about the relative.

Investigators have stated that Planck also sent the relative messages requesting them to perform sexual acts on him. In one message, Planck even wrote, “There is nothing wrong with incest, it’s fun and a nice rush being taboo.” The victim confirmed these allegations and accused Planck of forcing their hand onto his exposed penis and using their hand to pleasure himself. Planck is also accused of touching the victim inappropriately while they were sleeping.

As a result of these new revelations, Planck is now facing additional charges in Randolph County. In addition to the previous charges of murder and child molestation, he will now be charged with attempted incest, a Level 5 felony, and two counts of sexual battery, a Level 6 felony. It is important to note that in Indiana, incest charges can be brought regardless of the victim’s age.
