Accident – Death – Obituary News : Elderly Man Killed in Bus Accident on Dhaka-Chattogram Highway
An elderly man lost his life after being hit by a bus that lost control and fell into a roadside ditch on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Munshiganj’s Gazaria upazila today. The incident also resulted in injuries to twenty passengers of the Jainpur Paribahan, who were traveling from Cumilla to Dhaka.

The deceased has been identified as Abdur Rob, aged 65. He tragically died on the spot after being struck by the bus, according to Humayun Kabir, the Gazaria highway police in-charge. The accident occurred around 8:30 am when the bus lost control, hit Rob, and veered off the road.
Gazaria Upazila Fire Service Station Officer, Rifat Mallik, stated that some of the injured individuals were in critical condition and were sent to Dhaka for treatment. The remaining injured passengers are currently receiving medical care at the Gazaria Health Complex.
