[RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO] – The victim of a fatal shooting in a Richmond Hill parking lot last week has been identified as Alexander Bobby Lapage, a 21-year-old man from Toronto, according to York Regional Police. The incident occurred on Friday, November 17 at 11:20 p.m. in the parking lot of an entertainment plaza on York Boulevard at East Beaver Creek Road.

Upon receiving a report of a man shot, York Regional Police officers arrived at the scene and found Lapage suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries. A post-mortem examination conducted on November 18 confirmed that Lapage’s cause of death was gunshot wounds.

Investigators have stated that there is currently no information available regarding the suspect(s) involved in the shooting. However, they believe that the incident was a targeted attack. The area where the shooting took place is known for its busy restaurants and nightclubs, indicating that there were likely many people present at the time of the incident.

York Regional Police are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to come forward with any information they may have.
