Woman Fatally Shot by Police in Fort Wayne Identified as Dachena Warren-Hill

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – The Allen County Coroner has officially released the identity of the young woman who tragically lost her life in a fatal police shooting on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Dachena Warren-Hill, a resident of Fort Wayne.

The incident took place in the 5100 block of Winchester Road at approximately 11:51 a.m. Authorities were prompted to respond to the area of Winchester and Babcock following multiple distress calls reporting a violent altercation.

According to preliminary reports, witnesses claimed that several individuals were engaged in a physical fight, while a gold car repeatedly rammed into a nearby house.
