A 19-year-old college student from Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, was allegedly abducted by two men on a motorcycle in Gwalior on Monday morning. The victim, identified as Prachi Vyas, had just disembarked from a bus at around 8:50 am when the incident occurred.

Prachi was traveling to Gwalior to attend her uncle’s housewarming ceremony. She got off near a petrol pump in the Jhansi Road area and was waiting for her brother when she was forcibly taken by the abductors.

A video of the crime captured by a CCTV camera shows one of the men snatching Prachi and forcing her to sit on the back of the motorcycle before speeding away. The person already on the bike was wearing a helmet, while the other suspect had his face covered with a cloth.

Local authorities have launched a search operation to locate the victim and apprehend the kidnappers. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of women in the city and has prompted the police to intensify their efforts to solve the case.

According to a report by The Times of India, Prachi was acquainted with a young man named Rohit Kishwaha from Bara village.
