The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch is currently investigating a tragic shooting incident that claimed the life of an 18-year-old man on November 17. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Wahler Court, SE.

According to official MPD documents, officers promptly responded to a report of a shooting at the aforementioned location. While en route to the scene, officers received information that a man, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, had been transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicle. Despite exhaustive life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
