18-Year-Old Pushkar Shukla Found Dead in Indore Well; Three Arrested for Murder

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Indore: Rajendra Nagar police have apprehended three individuals in connection with the alleged murder and abduction of an 18-year-old man. The victim, identified as Pushkar Shukla, was found dead in a well on Saturday. The accused were paraded in the area on Sunday.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Karan alias Chotu, Shankar, and Tilak. The police took them into custody two days after discovering Pushkar’s body in the Rajendra Nagar police station area. Additional DCP Alok Kumar Sharma revealed that the incident unfolded after Pushkar’s friend had a heated argument with some miscreants in the locality.

Enraged by the altercation, the accused abducted Pushkar and mercilessly beat him at an isolated location. Unfortunately, during the scuffle, Pushkar fell and sustained fatal injuries, leading to his untimely demise. In light of these developments, the police have upgraded the charges against the accused from abduction to murder.

According to the police investigation, the suspects had been pressuring Pushkar’s friend to extort money from him, which eventually led to the argument. Pushkar attempted to reason with the accused, but they became further agitated. Subsequently, they kidnapped Pushkar on Wednesday while he was returning home.

Tragically, Pushkar’s lifeless body was discovered in a well in the Rajendra Nagar police station area. The police have been working diligently to gather evidence and build a strong case against the accused. The incident has shaken the local community, as they demand justice for Pushkar and his grieving family.

In recent news, a man accused of murder and loot was killed in a police encounter in Mathura. The encounter took place on Diwali night, and the deceased, identified as Farukh, was involved in a robbery and murder case. Farukh had allegedly shot businessman Krishna Kumar Aggarwal and his wife Kalpana during the looting incident. While Kalpana succumbed to her injuries, Krishna remains in critical condition. The police recovered the looted car, a pistol, cartridges, and cash from Farukh’s possession. CCTV footage played a crucial role in identifying Farukh and his accomplice.

Meanwhile, members of the Dalit Sene in Kalaburagi took to the streets to protest the murder of Dalit leader Jagadevappa Shankar Kwatnur. The leader was assaulted by villagers and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Although four villagers have been apprehended, three others are still at large. The Dalit Sene has urged the authorities to swiftly arrest the remaining culprits. In other news, three para shooters from Hubballi have won medals at the National Para Shooting Championship, and the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS, Dharwad) is set to host a three-day VC meeting on millets.

The Haryana police have added additional charges against the school principal accused of sexually assaulting 60 minor girls. The sexual harassment committee found the principal guilty based on statements from five victims. The accused now faces charges including wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation, and aggravated sexual assault. Additionally, three families whose daughters were students at the school and have since passed away have been asked to join the investigation. Women activists have expressed concern over the alleged lack of thorough investigation and pressure on the girls to withdraw their complaints.
