Two Arrested for Luxury Vehicle Theft in Delhi-NCR, Jaspreet Singh and Kamruddin Ushman Apprehended

Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : Two individuals have been apprehended by the police for their alleged involvement in a spate of luxury vehicle thefts across the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR). The arrested suspects have been identified as Jaspreet Singh, also known as Khajan Singh or Jassi, aged 30 and a resident of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand, and Kamruddin Ushman, aged 27 and a resident of Muradabad in Uttar Pradesh. The police have successfully recovered seven luxury cars, three bikes, and a set of master keys from the possession of the accused.

According to Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravinder Yadav, both individuals had been actively engaged in multiple vehicle theft cases in the Delhi-NCR area. The police were able to track the suspects by analyzing CCTV footage of the incidents. This prompted the formation of a dedicated team to dismantle the auto-theft syndicate.

During the course of their investigation, the police received crucial information from reliable sources, leading them to conduct a raid in the Patparganj area of Delhi. As a result, the police managed to apprehend the two suspects along with a white car. Further interrogation revealed their involvement in several recent vehicle theft cases reported in Delhi-NCR.

The accused individuals confessed to having stolen more than 15 cars from various areas in Delhi-NCR, with the assistance of their associates, namely Mohd Faisal alias Boby, Javed, Arif, and Dilshad. Acting on this information, the police conducted multiple raids in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, leading to the recovery of seven cars, three bikes, and the master keys.

It was discovered that the accused individuals would conduct thorough reconnaissance of public areas and service roads where vehicles were parked without adequate security. Once they identified vulnerable locations, they would break the window glass and gain access to the steering lock using their master keys. Additionally, they utilized electronic gadgets and tablets to decode the software of the stolen vehicles, enabling them to create new keys and alter the programming of the original ones. The stolen cars were then parked in adjoining areas at Delhi borders until they could be sold in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Guwahati.

The arrest of these individuals marks a significant success in curbing vehicle theft in the Delhi-NCR region. The police have been working diligently to crack down on such criminal activities and will continue their efforts to ensure the safety and security of residents..
