Police Launch Search for Armed and Dangerous Suspect

A large-scale manhunt is currently underway in Memphis, Tennessee, as law enforcement agencies intensify efforts to apprehend a suspect believed to be responsible for a string of shootings that have resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals. The initial shooting incident was reported to the Memphis Police Department at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered a female victim who had suffered a gunshot wound and tragically succumbed to her injuries.

Subsequent investigations have revealed a connection between this first killing and two other recent shootings, suggesting the involvement of the same suspect. Identified as Mavis Christian Jr., a 52-year-old male, the individual is now considered armed and extremely dangerous, prompting heightened concerns within the community.

According to preliminary findings, the authorities have classified this series of incidents as a case of domestic violence. Christian Jr., who is a known relative of the victims, has managed to evade capture by fleeing each crime scene in a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu with the Tennessee license plate number 390-BHTM. The direction of his escape remains unknown.

One of the shootings took place on Fieldlark Drive, resulting in the injury of three females. Tragically, two of them lost their lives, while the third victim remains in critical condition. The second shooting occurred approximately 13 miles away on Warrington Road, claiming the life of yet another female.

While the identities of the victims and their relationship to the suspect have not been disclosed by the authorities, it is evident that these incidents have caused significant distress within the local community.
