Manhunt underway after multiple shootings leave three women and a 13-year-old girl dead in Memphis

A manhunt is currently underway in Memphis, Tennessee, following a series of shootings that tragically claimed the lives of three women and a 13-year-old girl on Saturday. Another teenage girl was also injured in the incidents, according to local police.

The Memphis Police Department has stated that the shooting death of a woman on Howard Drive at around 9:20 p.m. CT has been linked to two other fatal shootings involving the same suspect. The authorities have identified the suspect as Mavis Christian Jr., a 52-year-old individual who is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

The police have released an image of Mavis Christian Jr., urging the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the authorities. Christian Jr. is believed to have fled each crime scene in a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu with the Tennessee license plate number 390-BHTM, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.

Initial findings suggest that these shootings were related to a domestic violence incident involving a known relative. The police have revealed that Christian Jr. is connected to the victims, but no further details have been provided regarding their identities or the nature of their relationship.

One of the shootings occurred on Fieldlark Drive, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a 13-year-old girl.
