Accident – Death – Obituary News : Lucknow: Two police constables have been accused of kidnapping a class VIII girl and taking her to their rented house in the Asarafnagar locality of Talkatora on Saturday. The girl’s father became suspicious when he discovered that his daughter was missing and immediately went to the constables’ house, where he found her captive. He raised an alarm, causing the accused to flee the scene. One of the constables, named Nakul, who is posted at Talkatora police station, was later arrested.

According to Additional Commissioner of Police, West Zone, Chiranjeev Nath Sinha, a case has been registered against constables Nakul and Hakim for kidnapping and luring the minor girl to run away from her home. The 13-year-old girl was acquainted with Nakul.

“Hakim opened the gate but denied that my daughter was there. He stood at the gate to prevent me from entering. I pushed him aside and went into the room where I found Nakul standing at the gate of a storeroom. I asked him about my daughter, and he pushed me down. I found my daughter standing behind him in the storeroom, sobbing out of fear. I screamed for help, and a large number of residents rushed to her rescue. Hakim helped Nakul escape from the scene,” said the girl’s father.
