A man has been charged in connection with the tragic shooting incident that claimed the lives of three individuals in the Brighton Park neighborhood of Chicago earlier this month, according to authorities.

The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Jesus Franco, allegedly played a role in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old and two 29-year-olds on November 4. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of West 39th Place.

Law enforcement officers discovered two victims inside a red Dodge SUV, while a third individual was found lying on the ground nearby. The discovery took place at approximately 1:10 a.m.

The first victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while the second victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The third victim, who was found outside the vehicle, had a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Tragically, all three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by the police.

Following investigations, Jesus Franco was apprehended by authorities on Friday. He now faces multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, three additional counts of murder, and one count of vehicular invasion.

The suspect was scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing on Sunday, where further legal proceedings will take place.
