Authorities in Delta State, Nigeria, are on the hunt for a carpenter identified as Orunor, who allegedly beat his apprentice to death in the Sapele area. The tragic incident occurred at the carpenter’s workshop located along the new Ogorode Road.

According to sources, the apprentice, named Onome, was subjected to severe physical punishment by his employer after arriving late to work. The disciplinary measure reportedly escalated, resulting in the young apprentice’s untimely demise.

An anonymous resident of the area revealed that Orunor also accused Onome of stealing his ATM card, further exacerbating the situation. Upon returning home, the distressed apprentice informed his parents about the incident and complained of feeling unwell.

Concerned for their son’s health, Onome’s parents decided to take him to the hospital for a check-up. However, before they could finalize their plans, tragedy struck, and the apprentice tragically passed away.
