Barbara J. Cruz of Tiverton, Rhode Island Identified as Victim in Rehoboth Murder-Suicide

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office revealed that Rehoboth Police received a distressing 911 call at approximately 10:55 a.m. The caller, a relative of Barbara J. Cruz, 77, from Tiverton, Rhode Island, was speaking with Cruz when the conversation abruptly ended after hearing shouting in the background.

Alarmed by the sudden disconnection, the concerned relative immediately attempted to redial the number, but received no response. Bradley, who had been living with the uninjured elderly woman, also had a listed address in Providence, Rhode Island. It is believed that Bradley fatally shot Cruz before turning the gun on himself.
