A devastating incident occurred in Clark County on Saturday night, resulting in the unfortunate death of a man who was tragically hit by a car. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Michael Lemons, met with the fatal accident while walking along Dayton-Springfield Road near Partridge Road in Mad River Township, just before 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The incident took place when a car, traveling in the northeast direction on Dayton-Springfield Road, collided with Lemons as he was walking. Tragically, the impact of the collision was fatal, and Lemons lost his life on the spot.

Fortunately, the occupants of the car involved in the accident escaped unharmed.

Following the incident, the authorities promptly closed down the road for approximately two hours to assess the crash site and gather evidence for further investigation.
