Woman and Five-Year-Old Daughter Found Dead with Throats Slit in Bihar’s Buxar District

Buxar, Bihar – A horrifying crime has shaken the residents of Buxar district as a woman and her five-year-old daughter were found brutally murdered in their home. The victims, identified as Anita Devi (29) and her daughter Soni Kumari, were discovered with their throats slit on Saturday (November 18). The Buxar Superintendent of Police, Manish Kumar, revealed that the bodies were found at their residence in Ballapur village.

The investigation into the shocking incident is underway, and the police have recovered certain objects from the crime scene, which have been sent for forensic examination. Speaking about the case, Superintendent Manish Kumar stated, “The exact cause is not known at this time. A case has been registered, and we are actively pursuing further investigation.”

The incident occurred in the absence of Anita’s husband, Babloo Yadav, who had gone to Ara in Bhojpur. Anita’s father-in-law, Lala Yadav, informed the police that his other sons discovered the lifeless bodies inside their room and immediately alerted the authorities.

This unfortunate incident bears similarities to another gruesome crime that occurred earlier this year in August. In the Katihar district, a 35-year-old woman and her two children, aged 6 and 10, were also found dead with their throats slit. The police arrested the deceased woman’s husband, Feroz Alam, on suspicion of involvement in the crime. The incident took place during the night at their residence in Belaun village.

The local authorities have expressed their deep concern over the rising number of such brutal crimes in Bihar. They are determined to bring the culprits to justice and ensure the safety of the residents.
