Accident – Death – Obituary News : Man Identified as Anuisha Bone Found Dead on Busy Queensland Road with Gunshot Wound to Neck
Rockhampton local Anuisha Bone has been identified as the man found dead on a busy road in Queensland with a gunshot wound to his neck. The 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on Yeppoon Road, outside Rockhampton, shortly after he was discovered at around 4am on Friday.

According to witnesses, multiple gunshots were heard in the area, and more than one vehicle was seen leaving at high speed. Superintendent Darrin Shadlow revealed the victim’s name on Saturday as part of an effort to track down the person or people responsible for his death.
“We do not believe that this was a random shooting incident,” said Superintendent Shadlow. “We do believe that the people involved were known to each other. We are conducting thorough investigations and have specialist units from Brisbane assisting us. We will leave no stone unturned in relation to this investigation.”
In an effort to gather more information, the Queensland police have released images of a light-green Hyundai Getz that is of interest to the investigation. The vehicle was found apparently abandoned on Farm Street, Norman Gardens, on October 20. However, Superintendent Shadlow declined to provide further details on what police believe happened with the car next.
“We believe that the driver of that vehicle, or the occupants of that vehicle, will be able to assist us with our investigation,” stated Shadlow.
