Woman and Daughter Found Dead with Throats Slit in Bihar’s Buxar

In a shocking incident in Bihar’s Buxar, a woman and her five-year-old daughter were discovered dead with their throats slit at their residence on Saturday. The victims have been identified as Anita Devi (29) and her daughter Soni Kumari.

The brutal killings took place at their home in Ballapur village, where the duo resided. According to Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar, it is believed that they were attacked with a sharp weapon. Anita’s husband, Babloo Yadav, was not present during the incident as he had gone to Ara.

Anita’s Father-in-law, Lala Yadav, informed the police that his other sons made the gruesome discovery inside their room and immediately alerted the authorities. Investigators arrived at the crime scene and collected potential evidence, including sharp objects, which have been sent for forensic examination.

“Various items have been recovered from the crime scene and have been sent for forensic examination. The exact motive behind the crime is yet to be determined. A case has been registered, and further investigation is currently underway,” stated Superintendent of Police Kumar.

Similar Incident in Kaithar District

This tragic incident follows a similar occurrence in the district of Kaithar back in August. A 35-year-old woman, Sadab Zarin Khatoon, along with her two children, Faizan Feroz (6) and Paya Feroz (10), were found dead with their throats slit. The authorities subsequently arrested Sadab Zarin Khatoon’s husband in connection with the case.

Such horrifying incidents of violence against women and children continue to raise concerns about the safety and security of individuals in Bihar. Authorities must work diligently to identify the culprits and ensure justice is served to the victims and their families.
