Montgomery Resident Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting

A tragic incident unfolded in Montgomery on Friday evening when Ladarius Arrington, a 22-year-old resident, was taken into custody by the Montgomery police in connection with a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Lanier Lane, prompting a swift response from both the police and fire medics.

Upon their arrival at the scene, authorities discovered the lifeless body of Rechardo Wright, a 39-year-old Montgomery resident. Wright was pronounced dead by the police, who later determined that the shooting had taken place at the 300 block of Fairview Avenue.

Following an extensive investigation, Ladarius Arrington was identified as the primary suspect in the shooting. He has been charged with homicide, according to the Montgomery Police Department (MPD). Arrington was apprehended and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
