Man Arrested in New York City for Human Trafficking Linked to Oklahoma Investigation

On October 24, 2023, authorities in New York City arrested a man named Feng Jiang for an outstanding warrant related to a human trafficking investigation conducted by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN). The arrest came after OBN Director Donnie Anderson revealed that Feng Jiang had been using a false identity for over twenty years.

After being extradited to Oklahoma earlier this month, a fingerprint analysis by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) confirmed that Feng Jiang’s real identity is Le Feng Jaing. It was also discovered that he had been issued a Final Order of Deportation in 2001 and currently has an outstanding Deportation warrant.

The investigation into Feng Jiang’s activities began in October 2022 when the OBN Human Trafficking Unit received an anonymous tip about sex trafficking at a residential location in northwest Oklahoma City. Acting on this information, OBN agents launched an investigation and, through extensive surveillance and various investigative methods, determined that approximately a dozen women had been trafficked at the brothel between October 2022 and February 2023. Feng Jiang and Jian Lin were identified as the individuals operating the brothel. Notably, evidence from the investigation revealed that many of the brothel’s clients were managers and administrators of commercial marijuana farms.

In February 2023, five search warrants were executed in Oklahoma County, including at Jiang and Lin’s homes and the brothel itself. These searches yielded numerous pieces of evidence linking Jiang and Lin to the brothel and the sex trafficking of multiple women. Investigators also discovered that Jiang had continued to traffic prostituted women in Oklahoma while residing in New York, with the most recent incident occurring in October 2023.

In September 2023, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office Multi-County Grand Jury unit indicted Jiang and Lin on two counts each of human trafficking. Jiang was apprehended on October 24, 2023, by the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the New York City Police Department on the Oklahoma warrant. However, Lin remains a fugitive and is currently wanted on multiple Oklahoma warrants. Recent information suggests that Lin may have been spotted in the Oklahoma City area. Furthermore, Lin is also facing charges in Canadian County related to an arrest connected to the distribution of the drug Ketamine.
