Concord, N.H. – In a tragic incident that unfolded on Friday afternoon, a former police chief of Franklin, New Hampshire, was identified as the victim of a shooting at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord. The victim, 63-year-old Bradley Haas, was working as a security officer for the New Hampshire Department of Safety when the incident occurred.

According to reports, the shooting took place in the hospital’s lobby and was contained within that area. CPR was administered to Haas at the scene, and he was then transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Prior to joining the Franklin Police Department, Haas spent three years as a military police officer in the U.S. Army.

One trooper was already present at the hospital, and additional troopers arrived within minutes.
