35-Year-Old Widow Found Dead in Kakadeo Coaching Mandi: Three More Arrested

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Kanpur: In a significant development, the police have made three more arrests in connection with the death of a 35-year-old widow, who was working as a warden at a girl’s hostel in the Kakadeo coaching mandi of the city. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rinku Yadav (19) and Rohit Yadav (23) from Rawatpur, and Chintu Tiwari (32) from Vinayakpur area of Kanpur.

According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Aarti Singh, these individuals were present at the scene of the incident based on the evidence collected. “Kuldeep Yadav (26), who admitted to raping the woman, was arrested on Thursday. We will now take the remand of these three arrested persons to determine their involvement in the incident,” said ADCP Singh.

The incident came to light when the warden, who resided on the third floor of a private girls’ hostel in Kakadeo Coaching Mandi, was found in a nude condition with blood oozing from her private parts in her room on the night of November 13 and 14. She was immediately rushed to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The victim, a widow, lived in the hostel with her children and also worked as a tiffin service provider for other hostels and houses in the area. She had hired Kuldeep, a resident of Billhaur living in Maswanpur area of Kanpur, to deliver tiffin to her customers.

The police had earlier stated that the postmortem report confirmed that the woman was sexually assaulted before being murdered.

This incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the need for increased security measures and protection for women in such establishments. Authorities are now conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the full extent of the crime and ensure that justice is served.

In other news, three individuals have been arrested by the Ahmednagar police in Maharashtra for the murder of a 59-year-old farmer. The victim, Ramdas Shirsath, was killed after he caught the suspects stealing sacks of cotton that he was guarding. Following a complaint filed by the victim’s wife, the police launched an investigation and detained the three individuals. The suspects have confessed to the murder, revealing that they killed Shirsath when he discovered them stealing the cotton. One of the suspects has a history of theft.

Meanwhile, in Mangaluru, Karnataka, a tragic incident occurred when a 20-year-old MBBS student reportedly died by suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of her hostel. The student, identified as Prakruthi Shetty, left a note stating that she was frustrated with her life. The police have recovered the note and are currently investigating the incident.
