Tragic Accident Claims One Life and Leaves Several Injured in Alluri Sitharama Raju District

One individual tragically lost their life and six others sustained injuries, with one in a critical condition, after a van plunged into a ravine along the Inada ghat road area in the jurisdiction of Paderu police station, located in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district. Authorities suspect that brake failure might have been the cause of this devastating incident. The deceased has been identified as M. Nookaraju, a resident of Salugu in Paderu.

According to Sub Inspector Lakshman from the Paderu police station, all seven occupants of the van, including the driver, were en route from Paderu to Rajamahendravam for their daily labor when the tragic accident unfolded. Initial investigations strongly indicate that the van’s brakes malfunctioned, leading to the unfortunate occurrence.

SI Lakshman further informed that out of the remaining six injured individuals, one has been transferred to the renowned King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam due to the severity of their condition. Meanwhile, the other five injured victims are currently receiving treatment at the Paderu Area Hospital.
