Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : Illegal Chinese-Owned Biolab in California Found Storing Potentially Dangerous Biological Substances

In a startling revelation, a House committee report released on Wednesday has exposed an illegal biolab in Reedley, California, owned by Chinese nationals. The report indicates that the unlicensed facility was found to be storing thousands of vials of biological substances, including some labeled “HIV” and a freezer marked “Ebola”. This discovery has raised serious concerns about the potential risks posed by the lab’s operations.

The illegal lab came to light in December 2022 when an observant code enforcement officer named Jesalyn Harper noticed a green pipe protruding from a hole in the side of a seemingly vacant warehouse. Intrigued by this unusual sight, Harper decided to investigate further. To her shock, she stumbled upon a fully operational biolab inside the warehouse, complete with laboratory equipment, medical-grade freezers, lab mice, and vials labeled in Mandarin, English, and an undecipherable code.

What was even more alarming was that Harper encountered several individuals wearing lab coats who identified themselves as Chinese nationals. This discovery prompted Harper to notify city officials, initiating an investigation into the matter. However, the report reveals that their attempts to seek assistance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the FBI were initially met with resistance.

According to the House committee report, the CDC refused to engage in dialogue with local officials and even hung up on them during conversations. The report further highlights the frustration faced by the city officials, who were unable to obtain any help from other federal agencies. The FBI, in particular, closed its investigation, stating that they did not believe there were any weapons of mass destruction on the property.

Undeterred by the lack of support from federal agencies, the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party launched its own investigation in September, resulting in the comprehensive 42-page report. Remarkably, the report concludes that, apart from the Ebola vials, the labeled vials of presumed pathogens found in the illegal biolab are “inconsistent with the operation of a bioweapons program.”

The Reedley bio-lab’s owner and founder has been identified as Jia Bei Jesse Zhu, a Chinese national. Zhu’s involvement in this illicit operation brings into question the motives behind the storage of potentially dangerous biological substances and the implications it may have on public health and safety.

This shocking revelation has raised concerns about the need for stricter regulations and oversight of biolab operations in the United States. The potential risks associated with mishandling or unauthorized storage of such hazardous materials cannot be underestimated, particularly in light of recent global health crises.

As the investigation into this illegal biolab continues, it is imperative for authorities to take swift action to ensure the safety and security of the local community. Additionally, this incident serves as a wake-up call for policymakers to reevaluate existing protocols and strengthen measures aimed at preventing the establishment and operation of illicit biolabs.

The House committee report has shed light on a grave security breach and potential public health threat. By uncovering this illegal Chinese-owned biolab, steps can now be taken to rectify the situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future..
