Eleven Arrested in Drug Sting, Seizure of $95,500 Worth of Drugs and $1,919 in Cash in Statesville, North Carolina

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Eleven individuals have been apprehended in a drug operation that resulted in the confiscation of approximately $95,500 worth of narcotics and $1,919 in cash, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation was initiated in July by the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) Special Agents, who focused on the distribution of crystal methamphetamine in Statesville and other areas of Iredell County.

Over the course of four months, the ACE team and SBI agents purchased roughly 1,600 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 3.760 grams of cocaine from a 53-year-old individual named William Miller. Undercover investigators were able to identify multiple individuals who frequented Miller’s residence on East Raleigh Avenue in Statesville to purchase drugs. These individuals were subsequently stopped and arrested if found in possession of controlled substances.

On November 9th, law enforcement arrested William T. Miller after obtaining a search warrant for his residence. Miller is currently being held at the Iredell County Detention Center on a $6.5 million secured bond. He faces charges including three counts of Level 1 Trafficking by Possession, three counts of Level 1 Trafficking by Sell, six counts of Level 2 Trafficking by Possession, six counts of Level 2 Trafficking by Sell, Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Cocaine, and Sell or Deliver Cocaine.

Devin D’Andrae Allen Tomlin, a 29-year-old resident of Stokes Street in Statesville, was identified as Miller’s supplier of methamphetamine. He is being held on a $3 million secured bond and faces charges of Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine, Trafficking by Possession, Trafficking by Transport, and Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School.

Another individual, 42-year-old Javon Donte Sherrill of Douglas Street in Statesville, was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Residence for a Controlled Substance(s).

Gerri Campbell Martin, aged 37, of Kennington Lane in Statesville, is facing charges of Trafficking by Possession or Transport and Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine. She is currently being held on a $300,000 secured bond.

Jimmy Wayne Martin, also 37 years old and residing on Kennington Lane in Statesville, is being held on a $140,000 secured bond. He faces charges of Trafficking by Possession or Transport and Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine.

Traci L. Call, a resident of Lakeview Drive in Statesville, is currently in the custody of the NC Department of Adult Corrections for a probation violation. She is charged with Felony Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine.

Timmy Ray Sharpe, aged 52 and residing on Hobbs Lane in Mooresville, is being held on a $30,000 secured bond. He faces charges of Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine, Trafficking by Possession or Transport, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.

Danielle Nicole Allen, a 26-year-old resident of Hobbs Lane in Mooresville, is also being held on a $30,000 secured bond. She faces charges of Trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine, Trafficking by Possession or Transport, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.

Lauren Rowland, aged 32 and residing on Doubletree Drive in Statesville, is being held on a $15,000 secured bond. She faces charges of Felony Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine.

Amber Walker Perry, a 37-year-old resident of Kelly Street in Statesville, is being held on a $450,000 secured bond. She is charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine, Trafficking by Possession or Transport, and Maintaining a Vehicle for Distributing a Controlled Substance.

Lastly, 39-year-old Lisa Cheri Whitaker of Friendship Road in Statesville is being held on a $20,000 secured bond. She faces charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, and Maintaining a Vehicle for Distributing a Controlled Substance.

In total, law enforcement seized approximately 1,899 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 6.620 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $95,500. Alongside the drugs and cash, two vehicles and a small quantity of marijuana were also confiscated.
