Badnawar, Madhya Pradesh – In a devastating incident, an 18-year-old girl lost her life while three others, including a minor, sustained injuries after an unidentified vehicle collided with their auto rickshaw from the rear end. The incident occurred on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday near Amodiya village, situated between Bidwal village and Pithampur, leaving the local community in shock.

The victim, identified as Madhubala Bagri, was traveling with her family members – her father Shambhulal, mother Lalabai, and younger brother Shivam – towards their native village of Bidwal. Their purpose for this journey was to cast their votes in the ongoing regional elections, demonstrating their commitment to exercising their democratic rights.

Tragedy struck when an unidentified vehicle crashed into their auto rickshaw, causing significant damage and injuring all four occupants. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to immediate distress and chaos. Concerned bystanders rushed to the scene and promptly transported the victims to Badnawar civil hospital in a private vehicle.

Upon arrival at the hospital, medical professionals desperately tried to save Madhubala’s life but, tragically, their efforts were in vain. She was pronounced dead on arrival. The three injured individuals received immediate first aid to stabilize their conditions.

Local authorities have registered a case against the unidentified driver responsible for the accident, and a comprehensive investigation is currently underway. The police are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice for Madhubala and her grieving family.
