San Francisco Police Apprehend Suspects in Alamo Square Burglary Case: Jose Carreno, Daevon Hudson, Armani Tolliver Arrested

Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : San Francisco – The San Francisco Police Department has successfully apprehended suspects connected to a burglary case in Alamo Square, according to a recent report.

On the morning of Tuesday, the 14th, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a vehicle burglary took place in the vicinity of Alamo Square. The description of the suspect vehicle was promptly broadcast over police radio. At around 10:17 a.m., plainclothes officers spotted a vehicle matching the provided description near Potrero Avenue and Division Street.

The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop in the vicinity of 24th Street and Alabama Street, where a man, later identified as 51-year-old Jose Carreno, was observed engaging in what appeared to be a transaction with one of the occupants. Following the departure of the suspect vehicle, the officers proceeded to detain Carreno. During a search, law enforcement recovered items that were stolen in the initial vehicle burglary, leading to Carreno’s arrest. He was subsequently booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of buying or receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

Meanwhile, the male and female occupants of the suspect vehicle were apprehended by officers in Oakland. They were identified as 23-year-old Daevon Hudson from Antioch and 22-year-old Armani Tolliver from Pittsburg. A thorough search of the vehicle yielded a firearm, a substantial amount of money, burglary tools, and additional stolen items from the initial vehicle burglary. The recovered items were successfully returned to the victims of the auto burglary.

Hudson was subsequently booked at San Francisco County Jail on a litany of charges, including burglary in the second degree, possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, being armed with a firearm in the commission of a felony, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to display both license plates, and conspiracy. On the other hand, Tolliver was booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of burglary in the second degree, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, and grand theft.

Chief Bill Scott expressed his gratitude towards the officers involved in the diligent police work that led to the arrest of the three suspects and the recovery of the victims’ property. Chief Scott emphasized the police department’s unwavering stance against vehicle break-ins in the city, stating, “We will not tolerate people breaking into vehicles in our city. We will continue to employ strategies such as bait car operations, various types of police officer deployments, and use of video surveillance technologies to combat car burglaries and fencing operations that profit off of car burglaries. Anyone who makes the poor decision to commit these crimes in San Francisco will be held accountable.”
