Dashawn Dow Identified as Suspect in Follow-Home Armed Robberies in Los Angeles

Accident – Death – Obituary News : LOS ANGELES — Authorities in Los Angeles have identified one of the suspects involved in a string of follow-home armed robberies in the North Hollywood area. Dashawn Dow, a 20-year-old individual, has been named as a suspect by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). In an effort to apprehend Dow, the LAPD has released his photograph and security footage from one of the incidents.

Dow has a history of criminal activity, having been arrested on five separate occasions for robbery in the past 18 months. However, he has managed to post bond each time, allowing him to remain at large despite his repeated offenses, according to an official statement from the LAPD.

One of the robberies in which Dow is believed to be involved occurred on October 2nd in North Hollywood. Surveillance cameras captured a grey Maserati following a male and female victim into the parking structure of their apartment complex. As the victims exited their vehicle, they were confronted by two armed suspects, who demanded their personal belongings. Fearing for their lives, the victims complied, and the suspects fled with their money and jewelry.

Another incident took place on October 10th, around 12:10 a.m., where a male and female victim were confronted by two male suspects in the same North Hollywood apartment complex parking structure. One of the suspects attempted to forcefully remove a watch from the victim’s wrist, and when the victim resisted, the other suspect pressed a gun against his chest. In fear for his life, the victim relinquished his belongings, and the suspects quickly escaped in a waiting getaway vehicle.

The LAPD believes that Dow was involved in both of these incidents and that he utilized a firearm during the commission of these crimes. As a result, Dow is considered armed and dangerous and is currently at large.
