Police – Accident – Death – Obituary News : Four students from Beaumont High School have been implicated in the thefts of personal belongings belonging to Colorado football players from a locker room at the Rose Bowl, according to authorities. The Pasadena Police Department stated on Monday that no arrests have been made yet, but the case has been referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

Lisa Derderian, a spokesperson for the Pasadena Police Department, informed the Pasadena Star-News that they have identified several suspects involved in the thefts during UCLA’s 28-16 victory over the Buffaloes on October 28th.

Derderian further stated, “Pasadena police can confirm that several of the stolen items have been returned to the Colorado players impacted. Additional items of interest have been identified and are actively being pursued. The suspects in the case are juveniles. Search warrants were executed, and additional information will be provided soon as the investigation progresses.”

The thefts were discovered by the players when they returned to the locker room after the game. The missing items include jewelry and other personal belongings.

The involvement of Beaumont High School students in this incident has caused disappointment and disheartenment. Alex Sponheim, a spokesperson for the Beaumont Unified School District, expressed their disappointment in a statement, saying, “We strive to promote strong character and integrity in our students, and the alleged actions do not represent our core values as a school, district, and community. While the students were not at the UCLA-Colorado football game as part of a school-sponsored event, the district is cooperating fully with Pasadena Police Department’s investigation.”

It is yet to be confirmed whether the students attended the game as part of a recruiting trip. Neither Derderian nor officials from the Beaumont Unified School District were able to provide confirmation on this matter.

The Pasadena Police Department’s detectives have been working diligently to follow up on all leads, resulting in the execution of search warrants. Derderian stated, “The investigation will be ongoing. More information will follow as available, although we recognize this incident has received national media attention and we wanted to provide an update.”

In a surprising turn of events, some parents of the students involved have taken it upon themselves to recover the stolen items. KCAL 9 reported that these parents have found jewelry and other personal items belonging to the Colorado players and have mailed them back.

The authorities are treating this case seriously, and the investigation will continue to unfold. The stolen items are being returned to their rightful owners, but the full extent of the involvement of the Beaumont High School students is yet to be determined.

In conclusion, the thefts of personal property from Colorado football players at the Rose Bowl have been linked to four students from Beaumont High School. The Pasadena Police Department is actively investigating the incident, with search warrants already executed. The involvement of the students has caused disappointment in the local community, and the school district is fully cooperating with the police. As the investigation progresses, more details are expected to emerge..
