Defence Organised Crime Unit Arrests Individuals Involved in the Murder of a 5-Year-Old Boy in Factory Area

Lahore, UK – The Defence Organised Crime Unit has successfully apprehended three men and a woman on charges of brutally killing a 5-year-old boy in the Factory Area. The accused individuals, namely Nadeem, Ahmad Raza, Naveed, and Rehana, were responsible for the heinous act, which shocked the local community.

According to the authorities, the accused Rehana held a grudge against the child’s parents due to a minor exchange of harsh words. In a premeditated attack, Rehana, along with her brother and friends, executed the innocent child, Ahmed Ali, and disposed of his body in the Walton Road drain, hoping to conceal their crime.

In a separate incident, the Organised Crime Unit Kahana successfully apprehended four men and a woman on murder charges. The accused individuals were identified as Rubina, the wife of the deceased Nadeem Akhtar, Umar Ali, Ghulam Meeran, M Imran, and M Bilal. The motive behind the crime was Rubina’s illicit relationship with Umar Ali, which led her to conspire against her husband.

Furthermore, the police have made significant progress in combating robbery and theft in the city. Ten notorious robbers and thieves, including Zaid, Zeeshan, Zahid, Ihsan, Abbas, Azizul Rehman, Asad, Irfan, Muneeb, and Sagheer, were apprehended. The police also seized valuable items and illegal arms from their possession. These criminals had been terrorizing public and private areas within the city, causing distress among the local residents.

The Gender Cell Sadar Division made a breakthrough by arresting an individual involved in a rape case. The accused, Sabar, had been evading arrest since committing the crime against Tahira Bibi in 2020. However, the relentless efforts of the police finally led to his capture.

In an update regarding a recent gruesome discovery, the bodies of a man and a woman found inside a plastic drum in the Nishtar Colony area have been identified. The victims were identified as Farzana and Imran. Investigation revealed that Farzana’s brothers were responsible for their deaths. The motive behind the killing was a property dispute, as Farzana continuously demanded her rightful share from her brothers.

Law enforcement authorities have also made progress in curbing the dangerous practice of aerial firing and the display of weapons. The Manga Mandi police successfully apprehended two individuals, Daud and Irfan Habib, involved in such activities. Acting swiftly upon receiving an aerial firing call from the Safe City 15 team, the Manga Mandi police were able to seize a rifle, magazine, and bullets from the offenders.

In a heartwarming ceremony, the Lahore police bid farewell to six retired Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and two inspectors at the Capital City Police Office. The CCPO Lahore presented commemorative shields and flower bouquets to honor the retiring officers for their dedicated service. The retired officers included DSP Sajjad Haider, DSP Naveed Akmal, DSP Anjum Shehzad, DSP Najaf Gul, DSP Zaheeruddin Babar, DSP Sajjad Rashid, Inspector Zafar Iqbal, and Inspector Mahmood Shah.
