Victim in Stabbing Incident Near Mast General Store in Winston-Salem Identified by Police

Accident – Death – Obituary News : Winston-Salem police are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred near the Mast General Store on Tuesday night. Officers responded to the scene on the 400 block of N. Trade Street at approximately 8:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a stab wound to the neck. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital by Forsyth County EMS. Fortunately, the injuries sustained are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Initial investigations by detectives indicate that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with a woman. Shortly thereafter, a man arrived at the scene in a silver Nissan Sentra. The man exited the vehicle and proceeded to stab the victim in the neck. The suspect and the woman quickly fled the scene in the vehicle.

The victim has been uncooperative with the investigation thus far, hindering progress in identifying the suspects. However, detectives are continuing their efforts to gather more information and bring the perpetrators to justice.
