Kim Taehyung Faces Ongoing Death Threats Following Stalking Incident

After a distressing incident involving the stalking of popular BTS member Kim Taehyung at his residence by a 30-year-old woman, the idol continues to be targeted with alarming death threats on various social media platforms. Known by his stage name V, the singer has unfortunately become the subject of hatred from “antis” (haters) and even some solo fans on multiple occasions.

However, the devoted fanbase of BTS, commonly known as ARMY, has expressed their growing concern and exhaustion at witnessing the constant stalking and receipt of death threats against Kim Taehyung, particularly on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter).

In response to these distressing events, ARMY members have been vehemently urging the group’s agency, BigHit, and HYBE Labels to take immediate and stringent actions to ensure the safety and protection of the idol. Furthermore, they have reached out to other K-pop fandoms, appealing for solidarity against such heinous hate crimes.

As a result, numerous fandoms, including the dedicated followers of Stray Kids and other artists, have set aside their rivalries and joined together on various social media platforms to advocate for Kim Taehyung’s safety and condemn these harmful actions.

Investigation Launched into Stalker’s Actions

On October 27, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station initiated a thorough investigation regarding a woman in her 30s, identified as “A,” for suspected violations of the Stalking Punishment Law. The unsettling incident occurred on the evening of October 26, around 6:30 PM, when the woman followed Kim Taehyung into the elevator at his residence, displaying concerning behavior.

She proceeded to engage him in conversation and even presented a marriage registration document. Once the complaint was officially filed, the woman attempted to evade authorities. However, the police were successful in locating and identifying her through the marriage registration details.
